Jaiden Bubbles
Scott's First Game
Dude, I finally made a real game! It's called Jaiden Bubbles. You are in an aquarium filled with bubbles. You must pop the Jaiden bubbles to win. Watch out for the Timothy bubbles though! Each time one of these bubbles hits your submarine, your shields go down by 25%. If they get down too far, it's all over!There are three dificulty levels:
| Easy | There are 10 Jaiden bubbles that you must pop. They all move at the same speed. |
| Medium | There are 50 Jaiden bubbles that you must pop. Watch out for the 5 Timothy bubbles! The bubbles all move at either slow or medium speed. |
| Hard | There are only 10 Jaiden bubbles that you must pop on this level, but watch out for the 70 Timothy bubbles! The bubbles all move at either slow, medium or fast speed. |
Here are the keyboard controls:
| A | Tilt the submarine upwards |

| Z | Tilt the submarine downwards |
| UP | Move the submarine forward |
| DOWN | Move the submarine backward |
| LEFT | Turn the submarine left |
| RIGHT | Turn the submarine right |
| , | Roll the submarine left |
| . | Roll the submarine right |
| RETURN | Quit the game |
To play the game, you must have DirectX 7.0a installed.

Here a couple of screenshots. In the first one you can see the coke can that litters the ground.
These are the graphics the game uses. I drew them in less than five minutes with MS Paint.
Now here's the fun part! You can put in your own graphics for the bubbles! You may override the picture of Jaiden by creating a bitmap, calling it "good.bmp" and placing it in the same directory as the game. Likewise, you may override the picture of Tim by creating a bitmap, calling it "bad.bmp" and placing it in the same directory as the game. You could put in pictures of your buddies, your boss, etc. etc.
I made this game using DarkBASIC, the coolest programming language ever!
